This is a bar in the line of very good bars in NY or SF (the old NY and old SF) where the service is very good, the food is a cut above and the drinks terrific. The only thing lacking is great ambiance and buzz, but heh, it's Lincoln. I would send any friend who knows good food from out of town here. The steaks are good, those little devilish eggs were thought up by a guy in his kitchen with a scotch in his hand a beautiful lady on the sofa and Sinatra on the hi fi. Go here, eat and enjoy the simple pleasures.

Definitely a great experience! I had a couple of offers on GrubHub and decided to check this place out for a relaxing lunch at home. Even though I was only there for a few minutes, the staff is quite professional and friendly. They even saw my kind request asking for some sauce with my fries and gave me a couple of options (Tavern Sauce & Ranch) to try as a newcomer! Better yet, they even wrote a Happy New Year's note on my takeout box. :) The food was quite good! I've had a (delicious) Steak Salad from Certified Piedmontese/Casa Bovina to-go and was really looking forward to trying a hamburger made with such high-quality beef... and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection (medium with a little pink), the burger was perfectly arranged for takeout and paired well with the toppings. I chose the Surf & Turf, as it stood out, and would recommend it if it catches your attention. The fries were coated in an excellent blend of seasonings but were a bit more flavorful than I would've preferred. However, this blend pairs *perfectly* with their Tavern Sauce and is the perfect choice for anybody's side. I'd also try their ranch, as it appears to be house-made with a variety of spices. All-around, go here if you can afford the $25-$30 bill per person and are looking for a unique spot.
In town for a conference and found this spot through other recommendations. Loved it! Had the burger which was quite good, but kind of wish I'd had the steak which looked even better. Our server was fantastic, gave solid recommendations and had a great attitude. The place has a great feel and contemporary vibe. A good option for anyone wanting a nice meal near campus
Grabbed lunch at Aragon while in Lincoln. The place is small and fills up quickly. They have a cute little patio, which was perfect the day we were in town. I shared a burger and fries with a friend and everything was great! Would definitely come back if in town again.
So glad to see Lincoln is expanding their food spots. We went during our lunch because the last two times on the weekend they had a two hour wait! The ambiance was quiet during lunch Incredible burgers, somewhat limited but delicious. We tried the Aragon burger and a steal scallion wrap w truffle fries. We cant wait to try more options next time!
The flavors of the food at Aragon Tavern are just stellar. And with the addition of the great service, this location makes for an upscale experience at a casual setting. I highly recommend the scallion roll, which is Asian sauced steak and vegetable served in a scallion pancake as a wrap. It's a real flavor and texture winner, albeit very messy.
A small but mighty lunch menu. A more upscale experience (and cost) than most lunch spots in the area. Some of the ingredients were made at Casa Bovina (owned by the same family). Everything we had was delicious.
Our first here. Lunch today. Aragon Burger rare with fried egg added, sesame/parm fries. And Mushroom Burger. Mocha gelato first, and was really good. Good example what a good burger should be. Dripping off to our elbows! The best burgers in our area we agree.
